Starlimousine Concept

Starlimousine services provide you luxuary travels throughout Hokkaido.
Cities and sightseeing spots are scattered around in Hokkaido, and you will enjoy your road trips on our comfortable high-grade coach.

You will find the inside of our coach something like a hotel suite room.
Your driver and attendant will escort you anywhere you wish to go while you relax and enjoy your ride.

For a trip with your family, loved one, friends, or important guests, we will provide you with precious time on our Starlimousine.

Introduction of Starlimousine

The capacity of the vehicle is nine(excluding driver and attendant) , but we recommend maximum six or seven people in order to make your ride comfortable.

［Crew members］ 　a driver and an attendant

Our attendant offers various services.

We provide information on restaurants and places to visit along the course according to your needs and wishes, always considering the weather conditions.

We will take you to various places and facilities according to your request. We also provide you with information on local retaurants and activities.

 

We will provide you with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks which are particular about Hokkaido. If you would like to have anything else, we will have it ready for you for an extra charge.

In addition to the equipment in the coach, we will make your ride comfortable and relaxing with arranged seasonal flowers and nice back ground music.

Parking fees, express way fees, gas, and beverages served on board.

 

【Followings are not included in above charges】

1.　Pick-up and drop-off charges.

If the arriving and departure places are remote, you might consider pick-up or/and drop-off services for extra charges. Please see this page for areas and additional charges.

 

2.　Overtime charge

Overtime charge is ¥10,000 per hour.
(maximum three hours)

 

3.　Accommodation of the crew members

In cases of two-day trips or more, arriving or leaving very early or very late, the crew members will stay at a hotel. In that case, you will be charged ¥15,000 per night for two crew members.

4.　Anything else we need to prepare to meet your request, such as

beverages, food and snacks, an interpreter, etc.
(Please make a request beforehand.)

Note

1. Capacity of the coach

We count three children 12 years old and under as two adults.

 

2. Luggage

The cloak on the coach is 1.0 meter long, 0.6 meter width, and 1.7 meter high, and it is devided by removable shelves.
Six normal size suitcases can fit, or six normal size caddy bags can fit.
If necessary, we might put some luggage outside of the cloak.
Please let us know beforehand how much luggage you will bring with you.

 

3. Rest room

During the winter time, water in the rest room might be frozen and not be operable due to the outside temperature below zero.

 

4. Route planning for tours in Hokkaido

5. Inquiries in English

You can send inquiry e-mail from our page on web site, but please note that inquiries in English tend to take longer to be answered.
Also please note that we do not take inquiries in English by telephone.

 

6. Booking

After everything is set for your tour plan, we confirm your booking by receiving deposit. You can make the payment by wiring the necessary amount to our bank account or by using a credit card.
If you fail to make the necessary payment borehand, your booking might be cancelled.

When extra payments are required, for example using Starlimousine overtime, then please make a payment by cash or by a credit card on board.

7.Cancellation fees

Cancellation at seven days or more prior to the day your tour starts - 50 %
Cancellation two days prior to the day your tour starts - 60 %
Cancellation one day prior to the day your tour starts - 80 %
Cancellation on the day of your tour - 100 %

※Cancellation on the day of your tour due to your flight cancellation owing to bad weather, or due to any reason beyond your control will not be subject to the cancellation fees.

※You will not be charged for any overtime due to any reason that is beyond your control including traffic condition.

 

8. Carbon Offset

“Photo Selection” is newly added to Cool Star Hokkaido Selection.

 This selection was made in collaboration with the photographer, Mr. Hideo Kishimoto.
He is challenging to shoot precious animals listed as endangered in the world such as Steller’s sea eagles or Blakiston’s fish owls with the theme, “Hokkaido natural environment.”

We hope you will enjoy his lots of great works, impressive natural landscape of all four seasons in Hokkaido and great moments of wild animals living there.

We will be introducing selected items particular about Hokkaido in Cool Star Hokkaido Selection in the future.
